Credit Analyst III

General Responsibilities/Job
Summary:
The Credit Analyst III is responsible for providing credit analysis for the commercial lending activities of the Bank and providing assistance in the administration of commercial loan accounts.
Also responsible for assisting the Credit Analyst Supervisor in the management of the Credit department through direct training and development of assigned personnel (Credit Analyst I & II).
Prepares financial analysis on credits, transactions, and capital structures for commercial borrowers; handles the most complex and/or challenging assignments.
Proactively collaborates and communicates with commercial lending staff regarding underwriting concerns and structure of loan requests; ensures regulatory compliance.
Provides training and mentoring to Credit Analysts I & II and assists the Credit Analyst Supervisor with reviewing work that has been completed by junior analysts.
May be called upon to participate with community organizations and community projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PM22Education/Training:
BS or BA degree, preferably in accounting or finance, or equivalent knowledge and/or banking experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of lending regulations, procedures, and operations Comprehensive knowledge of Loan Documentation Strong knowledge of loan structuring Strong knowledge base of organizational processes, product functionality, and regulatory compliance.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (including Word and Excel) Proficient reading, writing, grammar, mathematical skills Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative abilities Excellent oral and written communication Sound judgment Strong math skills
Experience:
At least five (5) years of experience in related banking position.
Required Certification/Licenses:
Valid Driver's LicenseTravel Requirements:
Localized travel within the bank's footprint.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
